Apple Mail
To add an HTML signature to Apple Mail, you'll need to create a new signature in Mail settings, then edit the corresponding signature file in your library to insert the HTML code. You'll also need to lock the signature file to prevent Apple Mail from overwriting it.
Step-by-step guide
Create a new signature:
- Open
Mail > Settings > Signatures
. - Click the "+" button to add a new signature.
- Add placeholder text in the right-hand pane.
- Drag the signature to your email account.

Edit the signature file:

~/Library/Mail/MailData/Signatures
